Real Madrid spent 60 million euros to recruit young striker of Frankfurt

According to AS, Real Madrid reached an agreement to buy Frankfurt striker Jovic. The amount that the Royal team spent in this deal was 60 million euros, of which the German team received 48 million euros and the remaining 12 million euros belonged to Benfica, the team also partially owned the Serbian striker.

The brilliant performance of 19-year-old talent Jadon Sancho in Borussia Dortmund has helped this player attract Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane.

To get Jovic, Real Madrid will leave Mariano Diaz to Frankfurt this summer. The Spanish striker is not part of the Jovic season contract but his price will certainly not be high.

Barcelona was also interested in Jovic but withdrew when he did not accept the request for the transfer money that Frankfurt offered.

Jovic is only 21 years old this year and has made a strong impression this season. Up to this point, he has scored 26 goals in 44 goals, including goals against Chelsea in the first leg of the Europa League semi-final that took place in this morning.

Jovic‘s scoring record also helped Frankfurt compete for a Champions League spot next season. The team is currently ranked 4th on the Bundesliga rankings with 54 points, 3 points higher than the Monchengladbach fifth place with only 3 rounds left as the season ends.

The 21-year-old striker will sign a six-year contract with Real Madrid, one of the players in the club’s long-term signing strategy with Dani Ceballos, Marco Asensio and Brahim Diaz. Real has been pursuing Jovic for a long time, but in the past few weeks they have accelerated the negotiation process after learning that a series of European clubs have begun to care about him.

So Real Madrid had a second rookie for next season after they successfully recruited defender Eder Militao from Porto. Besides, there is a lot of information that the Royal team has also reached an agreement to buy Eden Hazard from Chelsea and will debut soon in May.
